The Real Meaning of Christmas

Photobucket

"Christmas is not about presents under the tree, but God sending His only begotten Son as a present to be hung on a tree."

I was pondering these Scriptural truths this Christmas and rejoiced in the simplicity there in Christ, and what is the real meaning of Christmas. It is about celebrating and commemorating Jesus Christ for coming into the world to die for our sins so we can be forgiven and go to heaven.

Jesus came to us, to die for us.
He came with purpose as the greatest missionary. He came with passion as the greatest redeemer. He came with priority as the greatest Savior. The gift of eternal life bares his name, Yeshua, God is Salvation!

Wishing you all a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

What do you mean? I respect your view if you are against Christian's celebrating Christmas in it's originality, but I am confused on your use of language...The real meaning of Christmas bears the name in the holiday's title - CHRIST. If it was not for Christ, there would be no holiday initially called Christmas.
