True Thanksgiving

Every Christian should be marked with the character of thanksgiving. Christians are thankful people who worship God for his grace and goodness. Recently, I have been reading through the Psalms, and all of a sudden I came across this verse that is the very true essence of thanksgiving. This is true thanksgiving:

"To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever."

Psalm 30:12
