The Headway of Homosexuality!

I am marveled at the incredible lengths people will go just to try and cover up their sin, or run away from the sinful circumstances of homosexuality. Unfortunately, our great country has a decaying morality and foundation of truth that is being infected by sinful tolerance. Check out these quotes by Pastors and large churches:

"I want God's gay and lesbian children to know of God's unconditional love and acceptance of them as well. We cannot find any condemnation in scripture for committed monogamous same-sex relationships." Rev. Charles Coppinger

"The half-dozen biblical references to homosexuality do not reflect what we understand today about loving relationships. This is an identity, not a sin." Rev. Dan Johnson

"A growing number of biblical and theological scholars now recognize that Scripture does not condemn loving, responsible homosexual relationships. Therefore, gay men and lesbians should be accepted - just as they are-in Christian churches, and homosexual relationships should be celebrated and affirmed!" Metropolitan Community Church of Washington, D.C.

"No Bible writer could have said anything about homosexuality, gays or lesbians, or anything they do. Nothing in the Bible refers to homosexuality, gays or lesbians or anything they do." Pastor Bruce W. Lowe

These quotes shock me! It makes me wonder what Bible's these Pastors have been reading and are teaching from? Starting from the beginning of the Old Testament, to almost the end of the New Testament, the Bible clearly condemns all sin (see Romans 1:18), and one of those is homosexuality. For you Bible students out there, here are some good verses to read up on:

(Genesis 19; Leviticus 18:22, 20:13; Deuteronomy 22:5; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:3-5; 1 Timothy 1:9-10; Jude 1:7)

Family, we need to be ready for the headway of homosexuality in California. This sin is progressively growing among teens and adults. The state says they will not teach homosexuality in the classroom, but propose to teach homosexuality in health class, are allowing field trips to gay weddings, having special "gay days" at schools, and much more.

In these days, we need to stand up for God's word! We need to share God's word! We need to be ready more than ever before! I believe that homosexuality will continue to rise and cause political problems in the future. Right now, the Golden State of California is proposing one of the most controversial propositions ever in our State's history. "We the people" of California won over 60% of the vote last election against gay marriage, but the state legislature went against us with just over 30% and overruling the people's vote. This makes me sad that our own state officials would go against the people. Also it is disturbing to me, that we need an electoral proposition deciding if marriage should only be between a man and a woman, or be with the same sex? God, please pass Yes on Prop. 8 to protect the sanctity of the union of marriage!

All of this is just signifying that we are in the last days of course and Jesus' return is closer! Jesus says in Matthew 24:37, "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." Jesus is coming soon guys and gals, and we need to be focused on the Lord, "looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ!"

It's sad when leaders compromise the word of God just so they won't appear "closed-minded". It makes me wonder if these guys have even read the bible they claim to teach.
But anyhoo, I like the blog!

those quotes really scare me.
Its like dang even the church is allowing this stuff to happen.
its pretty sad when Pastors don't even know what the word of God says when they are supposed to be teaching out of it....
