Christmas Time is Near

I cannot believe it is December already! Its that time of the month where all the neighbors are starting to put their decorations and Christmas lights up, time to have a fire in the fireplace at night, drink egg nog, get a Christmas tree, listen to Christmas music, and shop until you drop. Unfortunately, i am not a shopper before Christmas, i just wait to see what will be for sale after Christmas. Last year i got my 2008 Toyota Corolla CE for a killer price the day after Christmas. So if your looking for good deals, hold out for after the holiday!

Nevertheless, Christmas is my favorite holiday by far. The family, the fun, the good spirit and good atmosphere the holiday brings is really sensational. The best part is knowing the real "reason for the season" which is the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I was thinking about this the other day, that without Christmas there would be not Easter. If Christ did not come, then he could not die for us and be resurrected. Pondering this thought enhanced my awareness of how percious this "holy day" is for us Christians!

Well tonight, I am excited to go out with Melissa as we have a nice dinner at Victoria Gardens. It should be nice and full of Christmas "flare" lol. Blessings on you guys and have a great week!
