Read the Bible for Life: Scholar Series (on Biblical Hermeneutics) Part 6

I love learning about the NT. There are so many new "fresh" insights I learn when reading new books on biblical theology. I am waiting for Christmas to get this book, so reading it on Google preview is the way I have been going through it. One of my favorite NT scholars, Darrell Bock, has put together the second installment in the Zondervan's Biblical Theology series on the book of Luke and Acts. In A Theology of Luke & Acts: God's Promised Program, Realized for All Nations, the exhaustive information can get overwhelming. Yet, the information does bring a refreshing perspective on the truth of the gospel from the Luke/Acts perspective. Enjoy the videos below that discuss how to read Luke/Acts, and how we can read the Gospels with more excitement. I was really encouraged by this!

"Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught."
(Luke 1:1-4)
